Koine is the Greek word for “common”.

At Koine we believe in:

A Common Faith:

Disciples of Jesus share a deepening faith in The Story. That we are: created by God, fallen into darkness, rescued by Jesus, confessors of Jesus’ Lordship, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, living a spiritually disciplined life, members of Christ’s body the church, citizens of an emerging Kingdom and awaiting the restoration of all things. A Common Mission:

Disciples of Jesus go into all the world to reproduce baptized, obedient disciples of Jesus. Read more below.

A Common Life:

Disciples of Jesus are commanded to form interconnected, interdependent missional communities that function like a single body (the New Testament vision of the church). Read more at bodychurch.wordpress.com.
